Do I need to know how to swim?
Yes. You should be comfortable in the water and able to swim. No previous diving experience is required for beginner courses.
How old do I need to be?
The minimum age depends on the course. Most beginner courses start at 10 years, while some specialty and professional courses require a minimum age of 12, 15 or 18 years.
Is scuba diving safe?
Yes. Scuba diving is a safe activity when conducted with certified instructors, proper equipment and by following established safety standards. Your safety is always our highest priority.
What languages do you teach in?
Our courses are available in English. Other languages may be available upon request, depending on instructor availability.
How long does the course take?
Course duration depends on the certification. Discover Scuba Diving: Half day Open Water Diver: 3–4 days Advanced Open Water: 2 days Specialty Courses: 1–2 days
Do I need a medical certificate?
Most participants only need to complete a medical questionnaire before diving. If you answer “Yes” to certain medical questions, a doctor’s approval may be required before participating.
