Halg El Shouna is suitable for certified divers of all experience levels. While the dive is not technically difficult, the natural reef entrance and canyon sections require good buoyancy control, making it more suitable for certified divers than complete beginners.
Is Halg El Shouna suitable for snorkeling?
No. Due to the natural reef-top entry and underwater canyon system, Halg El Shouna is designed exclusively for scuba diving and is not recommended for snorkeling.
