Om Halhalla is a large offshore reef complex consisting of numerous colourful pinnacles and coral islands clustered closely together to form a spectacular underwater coral garden. Healthy hard corals, vibrant soft corals, and beautiful reef structures create an impressive landscape full of swim-throughs, small drop-offs, and sheltered areas.
Its diverse topography provides excellent opportunities for relaxed exploration, underwater photography, and discovering the rich biodiversity of the Red Sea.

Om Halhalla is home to a wide variety of Red Sea marine life.
During your dive you may encounter:

Join our experienced guides for two beautiful speed boat dives through colourful coral gardens, spectacular pinnacles, and one of the Red Sea’s most vibrant reef systems.

SPEED BOAT DIVING

Om Halhalla is reached by speed boat in approximately 7 minutes from Hermes Harbour.
Divers enter the water with a back-roll directly from the speed boat before exploring the reef. At the end of each dive, equipment is removed in the water and handed to the captain before comfortably re-boarding the speed boat.

DIVER REQUIREMENTS

Om Halhalla is suitable for both beginners and experienced divers.

DIVER REQUIREMENTS

  • Suitable for Open Water Divers and above
  • Comfortable basic buoyancy control recommended
  • All dives are conducted under the supervision of one of our experienced dive guides
A Surface Marker Buoy (SMB) and an experienced dive guide are mandatory for every dive.

The dive site ranges from approximately 5 to 25 metres, making it suitable for beginners while still offering plenty to explore for more experienced divers.
How strong are the currents?
Currents are usually light to moderate, but may occasionally become stronger depending on weather and tidal conditions. Your guide will always select the safest dive plan based on the conditions.
